The answer is no. The Original Window to the Womb is an independent, family run business with its own history, team, and way of caring for families.
We understand that similar names can sometimes cause confusion. Our intention here is simply to provide clarity about who we are and what makes our service unique.
Our History
The Original Window to the Womb was established in 2003, making us one of the earliest providers of early pregnancy gender scans and 
4D baby scanning in the UK. Since then, we have supported over 95,000 families at our clinics in Nottingham and Sheffield.
Our family has been involved in the wider development of the private baby scanning sector over the years. Today, however, we operate entirely independently, with our own leadership, team, and standards of care.

Clinical Standards and Care – One of the first Registered with the CQC
Alongside the emotional experience, your baby’s wellbeing is always our priority.
All of our scans include a wellbeing check, where we look at your baby’s movement, position, and environment before moving on to the bonding experience.
Our sonographers are fully qualified professionals who also work within the NHS, bringing clinical expertise and reassurance to every appointment.
Accuracy You Can Trust
We are proud to offer highly accurate gender scans from 15 weeks, with a long standing record of 99.9 percent accuracy.
If baby is not in a clear position during your scan, we always invite you back for a complimentary rescan. We believe in getting it right, not rushing the moment.
Technology and Experience
We continue to invest in modern ultrasound technology, including advanced 4D imaging and enhanced 8K style image processing.
This allows us to provide clear, detailed images while always working within recognised safety guidelines.
