When Can We Reveal Your Baby’s Gender?
The earliest we can accurately determine your baby’s gender is at 15 weeks of pregnancy. Before this time, the baby’s development isn’t advanced enough for a reliable gendering of babies.

Can I book a gender scan before 15 weeks?
While some may offer earlier predictions, it’s important to know that the baby isn’t fully formed until 14 weeks. Any ultrasound before 15 weeks simply won’t provide an accurate result, and we believe in giving you nothing less than 100% confidence and experience.

Our Sneak a peek gender/sexing scan is available from 15 weeks. At this gestation we are looking at millimetres so have to be able to check from various different angles to reproduce the gender image.

Nobody can give you 100% as ultrasound simply isn’t.

We however, like to be as sure as we physically can be without holding a baby out in front of us.

Your 12 week dating scan will be able to accurately determine your due date and this is the one we work from.

We do Gender Scans using GE Voluson

Gendering baby before this gestation is not accurate and gives you only 60/40 unlike our accuracy of 99.9% scanning over 90,000 babies since 2003.

We determine gender by using the very latest GE Voluson S8 ultrasound machine.

To find out the sex of baby, 2D is always the most best way.  It is possible to see gender in 4D later on into your pregnacy, but 2D is far clearer for your sonographer and yourselves.

At all our scans we will guide you thru what we look for, explaining the difference between the three white lines of a little girl and what a boy image would look like. The umbilical cord is always a factor as well as position of baby.

The nub theory is also as it suggests. A theory! And again the angle of the dangle is not enough for you to start painting the nursery or being able to confidently tell people or go shopping.

People choosing not to find out in the room to celebrate with family and friends at a later date is also something that would be great to incorporate.
